Custom Terms Designer Leatherworks

These custom terms for Designer Leatherworks cover our special orders. For standard stock orders, please see our Standard Terms. If you are ordering a gift project or on behalf of someone who is under 18 see our Exceptions terms.

Contact us

Due to our current work load, Please  Contact us and ask that we add you to our waiting list for High End Custom Strap Projects. Use our form on our Contact page to request information on custom projects. For custom made-to-order merchandise, we will gladly add you to a waiting list for future follow-up. If we prepare a free confidential price quote it is good for 30 days. After 30 days we may need to revise your quote due to operations and supplier costs that are subject to change without notice. Once we are able to start designing your project, we require a deposit to move forward with your order.

Order and Pricing

Custom orders are subject to our terms at the time of your online payment but before design work begins we need a signed copy sent either by email or regular mail. Your total price only increases if your final design selections require more investment than your original request.

Deposits and Payments

Deposits: We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to move your order forward and receive priority for design phase so our talented designers can assist you with design specifics and set a tentative spot in our production schedule until design approval. After design approval, a more accurate quote and another installment of your balance to cover materials and release your project to production.

Scheduling Custom Work

Only an authorized representative can schedule design, production and completion dates according to our custom terms. No priority is given unless an estimate is approved and order invoice secured with deposit. Custom work takes longer to complete than standard stock items. Our high detailed craftsmanship does not include rush jobs. If you inform us upfront that your project is time sensitive, and we can’t work you in the time window to suit your needs, we may recommend another company who can help.

Design Services

If you are on a waiting list for a special order and we can not begin production on your project we will accept a smaller deposit for purposes of design consultation only which is included as part of every custom project. Please provide us with contact information so we can work with you to complete approved design layouts before we schedule hand crafting production. If you receive a measuring kit as part of the design phase, you must complete measurements and return the kit before we can start your designs. Consequently, if the measuring kit is not returned within 90 days, your order is cancelled and deposit forfeited.

Production and Delivery

After your project releases to production, progress updates will reach you via email or phone. Your agreement is with our company so any representative we authorize can assist with your project. Only after production is underway can we determine a tentative completion and shipping date for delivery. The balance is due at that time, upon complete satisfaction. At times, for proper fitting of “product to instrument”, it is necessary that we personally deliver the strap. However, if this should be the case, the client will be responsible for travel expenses for this meeting.

100% customer satisfaction, from conception to completion, is our goal before we even start crafting your project. Every special order is important to us as our artisians hand craft our product to your specifications to meet or exceed your expectations with feedback from design to production and delivery. Checkout Payments

We accept major credit card payments at checkout via PayPal. To place your order online please see our ORDER PAYMENT PAGE . For customers in the USA personal checks or money orders are gladly accepted; but they must be made out to CT Music Straps, mailed, and clear the bank before we can process your order.
